Grievances

The BGSA recognizes each individual graduate experience is unique.

Some graduate students may have experienced harassment or discrimination from within the department. Our committee recognizes the lack of reporting and accountability. At the Winter general assembly, we discussed avenues to resolve this gap, including but not limited to:

• A form to formally ledge a complaint or concern

• A list of graduate students, not particularly BGSA executives, as point of contacts to students

• Elected or appointed graduate students as long-term liaisons with Biology GDC/Chair/etc
